Audit on CT-KUB findings and STONE score trial to risk stratify renal colic patients

Acute flank pain due to suspected renal colic is a common clinical presentation in A&E. Urolithiasis is estimated to have a lifetime incidence of 12%. It usually presents in patients of30–60 years of age and is approximately three times more common in males. CT-KUB is the investigation of choice when investigating acute renal colic.
